Mark Dawson is a landscape architect who plans and designs award-winning urban landscapes.
Mark views the cities in which he works as vital and living ecosystems. By considering the complexities of social, economic, environmental, and cultural influences, Mark works with communities to create coherent, enduring, sustainable designs. He aims to cultivate a sense of stewardship of the public realm as a way to advance environmental and social sustainability and economic revitalization.
Mark, a Fellow of the American Society of Landscape Architects, holds a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from Utah State University. He has served on the board of directors of the Waterfront Center and Landscape Architectural Foundation, and as a member of the Utah State University College of the Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences Academic Council Board. He was named a Distinguished Alumnus from the Department of Landscape Architecture at Utah State University and has lectured widely at colleges and universities.
