Sasaki 为劳伦斯维尔中学设计的蔡氏体育活动综合楼二期在今年5月17日正式启用并举行开幕仪式。综合楼增加了新的主入口以及运动设施，延续其作为校园生活核心的角色，全方位融合休闲、运动和餐饮等丰富资源。
设计以通透的玻璃桥梁做为连接现有体育馆建筑的新门户，学生可以经由室内长廊和玻璃窗欣赏建筑的其他空间，并通往面向校园历史中心的大厅。
大厅的弧形庭院设计灵感来自该校著名的Harkness 椭圆讨论课桌，传达鼓励学生进行团队讨论与注重平等精神的理念。从庭院自然延申进入室内的木制天棚为公共区域加入了温暖的木质色调，营造温馨氛围。

建筑二期增加的设施还包括壁球场、篮球场、摔跤室、健身中心、更衣室、训练设施、两个新的多功能空间和社区长桌亭。从新建玻璃桥梁走进体育馆，即可一览历史悠久的拱形体育馆全景，俯瞰室内跑道和多功能运动场。

“我们的设计通过纽带系统使建筑相互交织，将新建筑和既有体育馆建筑、包含餐饮和学生生活机能的体育设施、校园北侧与远处的田径场连接在一起，” Sasaki 副董事 Marta Guerra-Pastrián 女士表示， “我们很高兴看到学生们持续使用这些新增的空间。”
