Boston's Seaport has developed rapidly over the last decade, but activation of the urban realm at ground level remains a challenge

海港广场总占地逾9公顷,项目的设计意向从十多年前就已萌生。发展商WS Development对海港区的优化改造一直责无旁贷,在构思如何管理广场余下约5公顷尚未开发的地块时,他们就意识到通过建立多姿多彩的活动,塑造鲜明的地区形象,眼前的街区将能发放活力,呈现世界级城市应有的迷人特质。Sasaki一向倡导城市设计是长远带动地方活力不容代替的媒介,应WS Development的邀请,Sasaki荣幸加入规划设计团队,与James Corner Field Operations 和NADAAA两家建筑事务所合力为海港广场余下地块、以至整个地区构想整合的发展愿景,使场地发挥变革性的影响。
