Muhan is a senior associate and landscape architect at Sasaki’s Boston office. With a passion for creating resilient, beautiful, and meaningful spaces, she brings a fresh approach to every project. Her interdisciplinary background and extensive experience in landscape architecture, urban design, and planning projects have given her a comprehensive understanding of the complexities of the built environment.

Her design and research focus on enhancing the environmental, social, and economic resilience of projects through creative placemaking and public space organization. She has a talent for identifying overlooked assets on a site and incorporating them into her designs, revealing their inherent beauty and value.

Muhan holds a Master of Landscape Architecture from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Architecture from Tongji University. Her commitment to enhancing the resilience and beauty of the built environment extends beyond her professional work. As a studio instructor at both University of Pennsylvania and Tongji University, she inspires future generations of designers to approach projects creatively to produce grounded yet inspiring works.
