Carla is passionate about design that serves a diverse public. As an architect with significant experience in institutional projects, she builds consensus around solutions that are deeply rooted in the unique aspirations, programs, and context of each project. Carla guides clients through the design and construction process by not only meeting their needs, but also adhering to real-world budgets.

Her portfolio spans academic, athletics and recreation, residential, student life, performing arts, and library spaces, enabling her to also bring a rich diversity of experience to space-planning projects and master plans. Carla works in close collaboration with landscape architects and planners to develop architectural designs that are fully integrated into their surrounding landscapes and urban environments.

Carla holds a Master’s degree in Architecture from Harvard University and a Bachelor of Arts from Harvard College. In addition to her professional work, Carla has taught design at Northeastern University and Boston Architectural College.
