Joe is a landscape architect in Sasaki’s campus planning and design practice. His clients include large public universities as well as private colleges and secondary schools. His practice extends to international campuses in Japan and the Caribbean.
Joe’s work spans the broad range of campus master planning, district planning, landscape master planning, and campus landscape design projects. His understanding of both large scale campus planning and the details of project implementation allows him to bring a unique combination of strategic insight and pragmatic realism to his projects. His expertise extends to the design of research arboreta, botanical gardens, and planning for university-based agricultural research lands and research parks.
Joe was educated at the State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry and the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. He is a Fellow of the American Society of Landscape Architects and a member of the Society for College and University Planning.
