A sports enthusiast and former collegiate athlete, Emily has a comprehensive understanding of collegiate athletics from the daily routine of the student athlete through to the details of event efficiency and building programming.
Emily’s athletic experience and knowledge of sport facilities enables her to have a unique insight to the features and benefits of successful venues. As a designer and a spectator, Emily has an appreciation and understanding of sports design from schematic programming to construction completion. She has worked on a variety of projects from NCAA Division I arenas to recreational fitness centers, and has a keen interest in the unique traditions and adjacencies that make each facility a successful part of the campus fabric.
Emily has experience in the planning and design of arenas, stadiums, gymnasiums, fitness centers, practice facilities and athletic fields. Emily has been working in sports design and planning for over ten years. She holds a bachelor of architecture from Roger Williams University.
