根据《美国新闻与世界报道》所发布的“全球最佳大学排名”，巴布森学院多年来一直高踞创业类第一位，其商学课程极具吸引力的原因在于校方特意成立了一所管理和创业基金会，为一年级生提供创业实践机会。Sasaki为学院设计帕克庄园西苑学生公寓，此新建筑将提供200个床位，以及包括施莱辛格创新中心在内的各个常规和非常规学习空间，以支持学院独特的教学需求，并实践校方的办学使命。项目基地位于校园的中心位置，这里也是校园社交生活的集中地。
The location of the site at the geographic and social center of campus transforms the campus core. Situated between academic buildings to the west and a collection of historic residence halls to the east, Park Manor West becomes the crossroads of the academic and residential experiences on campus.

呈L形的建筑形态造成了三个各有特色的开放空间，而且因应基地条件从南至北形成了带坡度的楼层。我们将这个斜面结合到大体积的元素之中，例如阶梯式座席和灵活座位教室，这样不但带来更宽敞的学习环境，也能减低建筑高度，令建筑与毗邻历史悠久的学生公寓保持一致尺度。

此外，这栋新建筑将在东面构成一个全新的学生公寓方院，而为此铺植的托马索草坪则在西面登场。长凳在草坡上交错摆放，形成露天剧院似的布局，适合于典礼和学生表演等特别节目以及在户外进行的日常教学活动。主要行人步道上同样设有长凳，步道将学生公寓方院和西面的教学区域连接起来。

创新中心三侧的室内/室外联系元素，将形形色色的景观带到建筑之中，如同成为了建筑的一部分；首层和二层装有落地玻璃，而停车库朝入口平台打开，这样的设计创造了广阔的视野；小型厨房装备齐全，可支持校友活动、招聘会和商业发布派对等节目。

本项目将达到LEED银级认证水平。设计团队为整个项目安装LED照明灯具、低流量给排水设备以及太阳能光伏板和太阳能预热板，所有在项目中使用的木材皆获得森林管理委员会（FSC）的认证。另外，创新中心的遮阳系统具备太阳能追踪功能，可按照日光自动调节，以减少日射得热量和眩光。
