Lan is an urban designer with a focus in campus framework plans, large scale urban and waterfront development, as well as domestic and international urban revitalization.

Lan uses a holistic understanding of context to drive design decisions, seeking creative strategies that provide flexible guidelines for long-term development. She strives to integrate sustainable designs in built and social environments.

She earned a master of urban design from the University of Michigan and a bachelor of engineering from Dalian University of Technology.
