World Landscape Architecture Awards Recognizes Two Sasaki Projects
Sasaki is delighted to share that two of our projects were recognized by World Landscape Architecture for their annual WLA Professional Awards for 2021.
Xuhui Runway Park won a Merit Award for the “Built – Large” category, and Wuhan Yangtze Riverfront Park was named an Honorable Mention in the “Conceptual – Design” category. Both projects were originally shortlisted in their respective categories.

Over 400 projects were submitted to the WLA Awards this year, with one winner chosen from the shortlist for each category. Winners were announced on May 18, 2021. This awards program encompasses a very diverse range of projects from across the world that showcase the talent and work of the landscape architecture profession. It’s an honor to be recognized amongst so many strong submitted projects, and congratulations to all the other winning projects!
