Ming-Jen serves a dual role as both a landscape architect and urban designer. He has focused his professional career on ecological systems and environmental planning within the context of large urban projects.
Ming-Jen’s experience in both the public and private sector allows him to easily navigate through project complexities, providing a balance of creative thinking with economic realism. Currently, Ming-Jen is involved with many of Sasaki’s major projects in China, Taiwan, Abu Dhabi and Southeast Asia.
Ming-Jen’s work has won a number of awards, including BSLA Merit Award in 2016 , Honor Awards in 2014 and 2013, APA International planning award in 2014. Prior to joining Sasaki, he was an architect with the Fieldoffice Architects in Taiwan. He holds a master of landscape architecture and a master in urban design from the Graduate School of Design at Harvard University, as well as bachelor of architecture from Chung Yuan Christian University.
