ULI Hosts Sasaki Webinar on the Chengdu Panda Reserve

On Friday, May 15, 2020, ULI Asia Pacific hosted a Thought Leadership Webinar Series with Sasaki principals Michael Grove, ASLA, PLA, and Tao Zhang, ASLA, PLA, highlighting the planning and landscape design that went into the Chengdu Panda Reserve.

During the webinar, “Reconciling Competing Interests: Conservation, Education, and Urbanization – A Case Study of the Chengdu Panda Reserve,” Grove and Zhang explain the design process behind this project—a significant effort to increase public awareness around the Panda Reserve, reconcile conflicts between conservation and urbanization, and re-establish native habitats.
