Sasaki
At the ASLA Annual Meeting & EXPO in Boston this past week, Sasaki principal emeritus Stu Dawson was presented the ASLA Design Medal.
Stu has played a significant role at Sasaki as a founding principal and as a national leader in the field of landscape architecture. Upon receiving the award, Stu said, “Since good design and well-built landscapes are the very foundation of our profession, I feel honored to be receiving this award.”
Stu also said, “For those of you who wrote letters of support on my behalf I have to say that design awards are wonderful, but words of praise from people you respect is really the greatest award.” Read Sasaki principal Alan Ward’s letter of support here, which eloquently summarizes Stu’s work.
