A project architect in Sasaki’s campus architecture practice, Justin’s process-driven approach to design utilizes sustained collaboration across the architecture, interiors, and landscape disciplines. Emphasizing teamwork and collaboration, Justin works to foster a progressive culture of quality design, informed and enhanced through multiple points of view. Justin places a high level of importance on ensuring the client’s needs are understood, integrated, and executed on each project.
Active in the firm’s sustainability group, Justin believes that working closely with clients, design disciplines, consultants and contractors is key to the successful realization of lasting, value-added solutions. His process includes critical analysis of built projects, utilizing function and performance-related feedback to inform future design work. Justin’s technical experience covers all phases of project implementation from programming and conceptual design through construction administration.
A third generation architect, Justin attended Cranbrook Schools. He earned a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Architecture at University of Michigan Taubman College of Architecture and Urban Planning and examined redevelopment sites in Detroit and Chicago. A LEED Accredited Professional, Justin is a registered architect in California.
