Kevin Derrick

As Director of Communications and Public Relations, Kevin leads Sasaki’s global efforts to align storytelling with the firm’s integrated planning and design practice. With nearly two decades of experience in the AEC and nonprofit sectors, he excels at translating complex design concepts into compelling, accessible, and data-driven narratives that engage a broad array of audiences. A strategic leader who oversees a talented team, Kevin fosters a culture of communications excellence that elevates Sasaki’s work and people, while also celebrating clients and their projects around the world. 

Kevin holds a BA in Psychology and an MS in Interior Design, and advocates for vibrant communities through several volunteer roles. Outside the office, you can find him cooking for friends, biking around town, exploring museums, and enjoying his ever-growing list of coffee shops. Originally from Philadelphia, he now lives in Boston with his husband and two kids, escaping to Maine whenever possible.
