Fiske Crowell Recently Appointed

Sasaki principal Fiske Crowell, FAIA, LEED AP was recently appointed Senior Fellow to the Design Futures Council and as Affiliate Graduate Faculty member at the University of Hawai’i at Mānoa School of Architecture.

Crowell has been involved with the Design Futures Council (DFC) for over 15 years. The new Design Futures fellows were formally introduced at the DFC’s Leadership Summit on the Business of Design. The Senior Fellows program, which now includes some 200 distinguished leaders, honors its members’ significant contributions to the built environment industry disciplines. “By so meaningfully raising the bar, these leaders secure others in their work, inspire them in their craft, and empower them to collectively make the world a better place,” says the DFC in their press release.

Crowell has been involved with the University of Hawai’i at Mānoa School of Architecture for almost two decades. He has served as both an adjunct faculty member and as a member of the Dual Degree Advisory Council. Crowell will be working in the graduate dual degree program with students from Tongji University in Shanghai, China. Crowell is looking forward to further developing Sasaki’s relationship with Tongji University.
