Shuai Hao

Shuai is a landscape architect who brings her systematic thinking and artistic skills to the design process. Her work explores how to create coherent, sustainable designs in complex natural and social contexts. With practices in both China and the United States for over 10 years, Shuai has a breadth of project experience designing public landscapes at multiple scales world wide.

Her recent years’ practice has been focused on urban parks and the public realm with a passion for understanding and improving communities and places. Shuai is very experienced in transforming strategic master plan level visions into physical built design and implementation. She is a key researcher for Sasaki’s Carbon Conscience tool and an advocate for low carbon design, sustainability, and resiliency in her practice.
