Gerry is a project architect with over 25 years of experience and also leads Sasaki’s Technical Quality Control group. Gerry brings to each project a designer’s sensibility coupled with the technical expertise that enriches architectural ideas.
Throughout his career, Gerry’s strongest contributions have been developing construction documents and ensuring the design integrity follows through into the built work. He has established his reputation as an even-handed, pragmatic, and engaged representative of the design team. Gerry’s many collaborations have been published in design journals such as Composicion Arquitectonica, Abitare, Progressive Architecture, and Architectural Record.
Gerry holds a Masters of Architecture degree from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from the University of Florida. His contributions have been recognized with awards from the Industrial Designers Society of America, the Boston Society of Architects, various local chapters of the American Institute of Architects, and National Honor Awards from the AIA. He is an active member of the AIA and the Boston Society of Architects, and co-chairs the BSA’s Construction Administration Roundtable.
