Paul is an urban designer and architect with over 20 years of experience on campus and urban mixed-use master plans, as well as on complex architectural projects. His skills include master plan design and project management, as well as advising clients on project feasibility, strategic property disposition, sustainable development, and implementation.
Paul’s master planning and urban design capabilities are enriched by his experience in the design and delivery of high-quality individual buildings. This architectural foundation gives him a sensibility that captures all scales from urban, to city block, to building, as well as to the interrelation between buildings and open space. His experience in the USA, Canada, Africa, Asia and the Middle East, as well as his personal history and interests, gives him a strong understanding of the imperatives of client groups and their stakeholders.
Paul holds a Bachelor of Environmental Studies and a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Waterloo, Canada, as well as a Masters of Science in Architecture and Urbanism from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He is a licensed architect in Massachusetts, a LEED-accredited professional, and a frequent visiting critic at design studios in the Boston area.
