Ben is dedicated to design excellence, collaborative working relationships, and creating environments that enhance the well-being of those who inhabit them. For over 20 years, Ben’s broad range of project types include mixed-use, commercial, residential, cultural, higher education, and master planning. Ben’s approach includes ideas around what makes a project unique and synthesizes aesthetic and programmatic objectives with economic, environmental, and urban perspectives. Ben also works closely with the Data & Design Tools group to develop a range of cutting-edge design tools to aid in the design process.
Ben holds a Masters in Architecture from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and was the recipient of the Francis Ward Chandler Prize 99 and the Sydney B. Karofsky ‘37 Prize for Design. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Art History from Clark University.
