Three Sasaki Projects Win BSA Awards

Last week, the Boston Society of Architects (BSA) held their annual Awards Gala to honor this year’s best in design. Sasaki took home awards in three categories.

The following projects were recognized by the BSA:

Las Salinas: A bold new approach to planning and design in Chile, where the transformation of a brownfield site becomes the catalyst for the urban and ecological regeneration of Viña del Mar.

Monterrey Tec Library: This new library for the main campus of Mexico’s premier university system turns the building inside-out—fighting against the idea that libraries should only be a bunker for quiet study and book storage.

West Java University: This master plan redefines higher education pedagogy in Indonesia by creating a new pedagogical model that embraces multi-disciplinary learning and formulates a new paradigm for socially conscious and collaborative professionals.
