Every year, the Boston Society of Landscape Architects (BSLA) Design Awards honors projects from firms based locally in Massachusetts and Maine, highlighting excellence in the diverse practices of landscape architecture and planning.

Sasaki is excited to share that four of our projects have been recognized this year by the BSLA annual awards program, all in the Analysis and Planning category — with one project taking home the top award in the category, the Excellence Award.

Sasaki’s winning projects this year are:

Strategic Development Frameworks for Five Cities in Afghanistan – Excellence Award
Chengdu Jin Riverfront Park Master Plan – Honor Award
Virginia Tech Infinite Loop and Green Links – Honor award
The Sarasota Bayfront Master Plan – Merit Award (master plan led by Sasaki and Agency)

This year, 48 submissions were received, from 27 different firms and two different schools. Submitted projects are sited in 18 different cities and towns in 8 different US states and five different countries across the world. Congratulations to all the other winning firms and projects in this year’s BSLA Design Awards. We are honored to be recognized alongside all the other incredible design work submitted this year.
