Cantigny Park Garden and Landscape Improvements
Wheaton, Illinois
Matt joined Sasaki in 2006 after receiving his bachelor’s degree from the Pennsylvania State University. His work experience ranges in typology, scale, and complexity from urban design and institutional planning to detailed site design. In recent years, Matt has focused on planning and implementation of institutional and civic landscapes around the country, including new and refurbished public spaces at the Cleveland Museum of Art, Georgetown University, Cantigny Park, and the Lincoln Memorial Grounds on the National Mall.
Matt’s work for multiple institutions in Cleveland’s University Circle District has focused on a revitalized and accessible public realm. The recently completed Nord Family Greenway was a catalyst project that has spurred subsequent planning and design projects. As each project is realized, they are incrementally providing new garden respites and strengthened connections between surrounding neighborhoods and Cleveland’s prized cultural assets.
Matt holds a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from The Pennsylvania State University, is a LEED Accredited Professional, and a member of the American Society of Landscape Architects.
