Lan Ying brings design intelligence and a holistic approach to every project she is involved with and is one of Sasaki’s leading management and technical resources. She collaborates across disciplines to shape innovative spaces for the learning environments of tomorrow.
Coupling an acute understanding of project management with strong design sensibility, Lan Ying leverages a comprehensive strategy to solve problems. Her expertise includes strategic visioning, programming, planning, and design and she facilities close dialogue with clients and users, interactive work sessions, and hands-on collaborative design, manifesting her client’s vision. Working in both domestic and international settings, she focuses primarily on libraries, learning environments, and cultural centers.
Lan Ying is a member of the American Institute of Architects. She holds a master of architecture II degree from Harvard University, Graduate School of Design and a bachelor of architecture from Carleton University.
