Dan is a senior associate who has had over 20 years of experience working on a variety of projects for institutional and higher education clients during all phases and at all scales in locations as varied as the United States, Mexico, Peru, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, and Malaysia. At Sasaki, Dan has most recently been involved in sports projects at Deerfield Academy and Colby College.
He has a distinguished track record on international projects where the challenge of managing the complexities of multifaceted programs, while balancing design and technical requirements has been fundamental. Practicing since 1998, Dan enjoys working on global projects where the unique place plays an important role in shaping a contemporary space. A background in landscape architecture and interest in urban design has led to a belief in an architecture that is recognized for its contextual sensitivity, material tactility, and conceptual clarity, where contemporary interventions can happen within historic contexts and vernacular architectonic issues become relevant.
Dan is a registered architect in Massachusetts, received his Master of Architecture from the University at Buffalo, and Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry at Syracuse.
