Allison has a wide range of project experience, with a particular focus on the complementary relationship between urban and architectural principles. These investigations have all centered on the creation of dynamic spaces that facilitate innovative and complex patterns of use within the campus and city.
She is particularly passionate about campus projects that require a nuanced understanding of university-wide programming goals in addition to building-scale implementation. This dual interest in planning and architecture has been useful in two of her recent projects: an Athletics Master Plan for Vassar College and a housing study for Dartmouth College. In both projects, a thorough understanding of a university’s current spaces and future goals led to efficient and implementable architectural projects.
Allison holds a holds a master of architecture with distinction from Harvard University and a bachelor of architecture from Cornell University.
