Lulu Island Master Plan
|  | | | The Lulu Island Vision Plan creates a low-rise, open island with world class resorts and meeting facilities, as well as a mix of residential, commercial and office development. The island is considered a shared resource, part of the wealth of the nation. It is therefore meant to be open and inviting to all, not a sequestered oasis limited to a few. Buildings cover only about a quarter of the island, the remainder being composed of parks, walkable streets, waterways and cultural landscapes. |

Lulu Island Neighborhood 3

Mangrove Tree Resort

Massachusetts Audubon Society, Drumlin Farm Sanctuary
|  | | | As part of the phased implementation of its property master plan completed earlier by Sasaki, Mass Audubon has constructed a new access drive and parking facility at the Drumlin Farm Wildlife Sanctuary. The purpose of the project was to provide a greater measure of safety for Mass Audubon's visitors and staff while minimizing the impacts to the associated wetlands, flood plain, streams, meadows, and forest habitat. |

Mayeux Ranch New Community
|  | | | Sasaki developed a master plan for an ecology-based, mixed-use, new community for a 3,000-acre family-owned cattle ranch whch has been designed to respond to the expanded demand for an urbanistic new community for people relocating to Baton Rouge in the wake of Hurricane Katrina. As one of the largest privately-owned landholdings in the area, the Mayeux Ranch is an opportunity to plan and develop a new community based on the best principles of urbanism and environmental, social and economic sustainability. |

Merlin Resort
|  | | | The Merlin Estate is located 11 kilometers north of Corfu Town, in the Greek island of Corfu. The land, sixty hectares of terrain with 400 meters of seafront, a seawater canal and a stream running through it, is the site of the former “Merlin orange” production farm.
Sasaki provided master planning and conceptual architectural design services for a 20 hectare resort development. The master planned program for this area of development includes a group of apartments, a residential village, and a group of apartment units.

Narragansett Landing

New Jersey Urban Parks Master Plan Competition
|  | | | Sasaki led a team that was one of five finalists in a competition to design a master plan to reconnect the City of Trenton and its State House Complex to its Delaware River waterfront. The state capital of New Jersey, Trenton is located equidistant between New York and Philadelphia and was the site of George Washington's famous "Crossing the Delaware," a crucial event of the American Revolution and a moment memorialized in painting and poetry for two centuries. |
