Colorado School Of Mines Research Park
|  | | | In response to joining the Colorado Renewable Energy Collaboratory, the Colorado School of Mines (CSM) hired Sasaki to help determine where the school should develop its research park. Sasaki's feasibility study led the university to consider other issues. Key was an assessment of CSM’s research strengths in the context of regional institutions and its national peers. The university concluded that the best short-term move is to create an on campus institute, the Earth-Energy Institute, to integrate university research and increase the on-campus presence of public, non-profit and private partners. |

Columbus Riverfront Vision Plan
|  | | | Sasaki Associates prepared a vision plan and implementation strategy for the nine-mile riverfront corridor in downtown Columbus. This new recreational open space corridor will connect the Ohio State University campus, residential areas, the commercial downtown, and several existing city parks. The plan emphasizes public access along the river and down to the water's edge and boating and other active recreational water uses. |

Costa Smeralda Resort Development
|  | | | Sasaki’s environmentally responsive master plan for this 3,000 hectare destination resort focused development of hotels, apartments, shops and marinas in a series of traditional Mediterranean seaside villages, with estates and villas on the hillsides. Sasaki has continued to consult over the past 20 years as implementation of the plan has proceeded. |

Council Bluffs Riverfront
|  | | | Directly across from Downtown Omaha and at the foot of the newly-completed Bob Kerrey Pedestrian Bridge, the Council Bluffs Riverfront Park is a 90-acre public park situated within the broad riparian floodplain of the great Missouri River. The main goal of the Sasaki Master Plan is to seize upon the distinct character of the Council Bluffs side of the River – richly forested, green and soft – in distinct contrast to the highly urbanized landscapes that surround it. |

Cranbrook Landscape Master Plan
|  | | | Sasaki’s planning and design services for Cranbrook addresses both the need for new facilities as well as the preservation and restoration of the 315 acre campus landscape which is a designated National Historic Landmark. |

Crossings New Community
|  | | | Located on farmland 26 kilometers east of Delhi, Sasaki's master plan for this urban residential and commercial community regenerates the area as a high-quality, mixed-use district that optimizes land and real estate values. The Crossings site will include residential land uses comprised of mixed-density to mid-to-high-end units, as well as affordable housing units for 40,000 residents. |

Dallas Arts District
|  | | | The urban design master plan and guidelines developed by Sasaki for the 17-block downtown district assure that private investment and public amenities will create a lively urban environment. |

Davis Park
|  | | | Davis block is a two block civic mall between the new Federal Courthouse and existing City Hall. The new green space is the focus of an urban design plan by Sasaki to revitalize the downtown government district and includes land use, redevelopment and design guidelines. |

Detroit Riverfront Civic Center Promenade
|  | | | The new Detroit RIverfront Promenade adds vitality to the city's front door. It combines active waterfront uses with public recreational uses, including tour boat drop-off and pick-up, and space for large public gatherings. |

Doosan 100 Year Park
|  | | | Sasaki created a conceptual design for a small urban park commemorating the 100 year anniversary of the Doosan Corporation. The 100 square meter park consists of a parabolic granite wall, a flower bed, and a cylindrical tower 25 meters in height located in the center of the site. In collaboration with Sisang Design Group and Synwha Consulting Co. Ltd., Korea. |
