Utah State University Manon Caine Russell Kathryn Caine Wanlass Performance Hall Landscape
| | | | The first signature open space from Sasaki's Arts District Plan is the recital hall plaza. Harmonious with the site, local stones of various types and sizes from the surrounding landscape form the plaza and building floors. Bands of granite related to the mullions of the building continue seamlessly through the enclosed canopy lobby and into the plaza tying the building to the plaza and to the landscape beyond. |

Vanderbilt University Master Plan
| | | | Sasaki's master plan for 300-acre Vanderbilt University emphasizes the unification of a complex multi-district campus located in Nashville, Tennessee. The historic core of Vanderbilt was added to in 1979 with the acquisition of the Peabody Campus, formerly a separate teaching college. The Georgian formalism of the Peabody campus contrasts with the Victorian and Gothic buildings that define Vanderbilt's historic core.
