2008 Beijing Olympic Green
|  | | | Sasaki won first prize in the international design competition to establish the master plan for the Olympic Green – the main site of the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing. As winners of this original competition, Sasaki is proud to have set the urban design framework for the design of the Olympic Green. However, the actual implementation of the architecture and landscape architecture of the completed Olympic Green was accomplished by other firms. |

University of Pennsylvania Penn Connects Vision Plan

University of Calgary Master Plan For West Campus Lands

The West Campus Master Plan creates a new mixed-use urban district adjacent to the main campus that reflects the university’s academic mission and its commitment to building a better, more sustainable urban environment. |

Auraria Higher Education Center Campus Master Plan Update
|  | | | The Auraria Higher Education Center (AHEC) in downtown Denver was founded in 1970 to serve the needs of three institutions by grouping them together (University of Colorado at Denver Health Sciences Center, Metropolitan State College of Denver, and the Community College of Denver). Sasaki’s master plan update builds on the idea of giving each of the institutions its own distinct quarter within AHEC providing each school an identifiable home within the campus. |

Dallas Area Rapid Transit
|  | | | The urban design and site design for this mile-long transit corridor links downtown districts, reflects district character and defines track, pedestrian and auto zones. Special streetscape treatments, shelters and a dynamic public art program unify and animate the corridor, support adjacent retail development and enhance safety in off-peak hours. |

Federal University for Health Sciences
|  | | | The vision for Health and Education City Islamabad is to create a compact community centered on a new hospital and medical college while preserving – and enhancing – the natural environment. Dramatic ravines, which run throughout the site, provide a defining structure for the built environment. |

National Harbor

While convenient to key tourist sites, National Harbor is a resort and convention destination that offers an alternative to the urban experience of Washington proper. |  | | | Southwood is a proposed new town near Tallahassee, Florida being developed on the 13,000 acre Southwood Plantation. Phase I encompasses 4,500 acres of land and includes a traditional town center, the K-12 laboratory school of Florida State University, and a range of housing types including moderate price units. |

Worcester Downtown Action Agenda
|  | | | Sasaki's Downtown Action Agenda provides a framework to guide public and private investment in downtown Worcester over the next decade. The strategy identifies priority projects and emphasizes public/private partnerships within a 275-acre district. Sasaki worked closely with the City to establish a process that included elected officials, business and civic leaders, local colleges and universities, real estate developers, and residents. |
