2008 Beijing Olympic Green
|  | | | Sasaki won first prize in the international design competition to establish the master plan for the Olympic Green – the main site of the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing. As winners of this original competition, Sasaki is proud to have set the urban design framework for the design of the Olympic Green. However, the actual implementation of the architecture and landscape architecture of the completed Olympic Green was accomplished by other firms. |

798 Arts District Vision Plan
|  | | | Sasaki's 798 Vision Plan seeks to regenerate the area as a high quality, mixed use district with a distinct focus on the arts. Planning and design principles included emphasizing the arts as a central theme for the district, retaining the essential qualities of the historic industrial aesthetic, developing strategies which make the district more visible, and encouraging a wide variety of arts-related and other complementary uses. |

Abu Dhabi University Education Park
|  | | | Abu Dhabi University Education Park (ADUEP) is a fundamental component of Abu Dhabi University's mission to provide an educated and technology-savvy workforce. ADUEP contains world-class research and development labs, business incubators, and affiliated offices along with retail services and residential units to create a 24 hour pedestrian friendly environment as an extension to the Abu Dhabi University campus. The research park creates a mutually supportive environment, providing opportunities for both the academic world and the business world. Within this model, ADUEP is the first of its kind in the Middle East. |

Agilent Technologies Corporate Campus
|  | | | Sasaki provided full planning and design services for Agilent Technology's new headquarters campus located in the Wang Jing Technology Park, northeast of Beijing's city center. The 45,000 square meter headquarters complex will reflect Agilent's corporate business culture and ideals for a productive, environmentally sustainable, and healthful workplace. |

Al Azhar Park
|  | | | Located adjacent to Cairo’s densely populated old walled Islamic core, this 32-hectare site is surrounded by historic Muslim monuments and Al Azhar University. The Aga Khan Trust for Culture sponsored the conversion of this ancient refuse dump into a multi-purpose park to include recreation, gardens, restaurants, and cafes. Sasaki prepared master plan design documents involving landscape architecture, architecture, site and engineering design. |

American University in Cairo
|  | | | The master plan for AUC’s new campus addresses traditional environmental issues including material use and energy consumption as well as issues specific to the desert environment such as climate and ecology. The plan was developed in collaboration with Boston Design Collaborative and Abdel-Halim CDC. |

American University in Cairo School of Sciences and Engineering
|  | | | The School of Science and Engineering, the largest of the academic buildings in the AUC campus, is comprised of laboratories, classrooms and offices for faculty and students. The building is connected to the Schools of Business and Humanities through a series of pedestrian passageways and internal courtyards generating a system of public spaces serving the population of the different schools. |

American University of Beirut Campus Master Plan
|  | | | The campus master plan for the American University of Beirut defines a two-decade vision for the physical development of its 24-hectare site on the Mediterranean. The master plan addresses matching the existing condition of the campus with the future needs of the campus community in an inspiring plan that will guide this world-class institution into the future and help advance the academic mission. |

Caohai North Shore New Urban District
|  | | | Sasaki and client Shui On applied sustainable principles to the planning and design of the complex project on 485 hectares. The plan integrates native vegetation and open space with an environmentally responsive transportation infrastructure connected to the city and region's existing roadways. It dedicates about 87 hectares of the total site to a mix of high, medium, and low-density housing and about 29 hectares to cultural facilities such as museums, theaters, an amphitheater, and an artists' community. |

Chantilly Master Plan
|  | | | The master plan proposes an expansion and reorganization of the race course facilities at this famous hippodrome. Focused on organized and rationalized parking to minimize intrusion into the forest, the physical plan was developed within the context of an overall devlopment strategy for the tourism and recreation attractions of Chantilly, including a new visitor’s center for the area. |
