The Syracuse University Campus Framework presents a bold vision for the future of the University that reimagines campus development and investment for the next twenty years. The plan identifies opportunities to support academic and research excellence, enrich student life, and create a vibrant learning environment through the design of a 21st century campus.
As a symbol of a new paradigm for residential life on campus, Georgetown's new 225-bed residence hall and associated landscape create a vibrant, connected, and engaging environment. The building's first floor contains flexible formal and informal gathering spaces which connect to new dynamic landscapes outside including green terraces, pedestrian friendly plazas, and outdoor seating areas.
Housing both the John F. Welch College of Business and the Department of Communications and Media Studies programs, the Martire Center is a dynamic multi-disciplinary nexus located on a gateway site at the campus's northern edge. The unique building program combines contemporary learning spaces for business and communications, and is an active center of academic and student life.
