Sasaki's Ananas Plan Wins APA Pierre L'Enfant Award
For the third consecutive year, Sasaki was awarded the Pierre L'Enfant International Planning Award by the American Planning Association (APA). This year, Sasaki's Ananas New Community project was honored with this prestigious award for a new community master plan that integrates urban farming into the community fabric. The Pierre L'Enfant Award "recognizes planning practices and efforts undertaken outside the United States to promote communities of lasting value."
