Last week, Sasaki Senior Associate Susannah Ross, ASLA, LEED AP, served on the resource team at the East Session of the Mayors' Institute of City Design (MICD) in Cincinnati. The MICD, which holds a number of events across the country each year, assembles mayors and a resource team comprised of urban planning, design, and development professionals together to encourage an engaged discourse on challenges facing cities across America.
"It was an honor to represent Sasaki at this gathering of design professionals and forward-thinking American mayors. Over the course of the day, we explored potential solutions that would enhance the quality of life in each mayor's city" says Susannah. "As the conference was in Cincinnati, the extra special bonus was being able to give the mayors a tour of Smale Riverfront Park, which has received rave reviews from residents and visitors alike."
