Stephen Gray Receives AIA Associates Award

The American Institute of Architects (AIA) recently announced this year's winners of the 2015 AIA Associates Awards—honoring individuals for their contributions to their communities and the design profession. We're proud to announce that Sasaki senior associate, Stephen Gray, was named one of just two recipients of this national award. Stephen is recognized for his active role in the Boston design community, and continues to shine as an established voice within the firm.

"We are exceptionally proud of Stephen's commitment to our community and the leadership he provides through his various teaching engagements and his involvement in the BSA," says James Miner, Sasaki managing principal. "His sense of curiosity and his strong devotion to making cities better for everyone is helping to advance the practice of urban design in new and exciting ways. We are thrilled to see Stephen's hard work acknowledged with this well-deserved award."

Stephen holds an associate director seat on the Boston Society of Architects (BSA) Board of Directors, and is also a lecturer in urban design at MIT. It is with great pride that we share Stephen's win—a recognition of the great work he does both inside and outside the firm. Check out the full announcement on Architect Magazine.
