The public meeting for Lakeview Village held in mid-June was a great success, bringing 350 people together to learn about the planning effort now underway. It was an opportunity for the City of Mississauga community to see the latest plans for the 177-acre former power plant site on Lake Ontario.
The event kicked-off with presentations from Sasaki, the Mayor of Mississauga, and a First Nations water ceremony, and included interactive models, VR-renderings, and a huge plan on the floor that everyone gathered around.
